I have been wearing glasses since I was 16 years old. Many decades ago! Contracts, small print, long hours at computer screens- my RX lenses are trifocals, complex + expensive.

So, a couple of years ago, upon upgrading lenses, I was offered a second pair for $400 more…
Just in case.

For 2 years, I wondered why I had bothered! Glasses dropped, no problems… Then this morning, my eyeglasses slowly crashed to the floor and broke.
I felt helpless…

Blurry without glasses, couldn’t read, certainly couldn’t drive or function effectively, let alone run a business!
During Covid, how long would it take to get a replacement pair?
My “Plan B’ was to keep the second pair in my car. Major disaster averted!
